I just had the urge to write handsome ladies, just to see how you'd react.

Because you know, back in ze day, they used to use that phrase for men AND women?!

If someone called me that today, id smack them with my purse. And it'd hurt you know, because ive perfected the swing of my purse to face.

I kid. sorta.

Anyways, wanna hear a tale from tonight?

I just tried to make hot chocolate with water. I added the cocoa powder, tasted, and about died. gross. add another spoon of cocoa. taste, and gamble my life again, add another spoon of cocoa, and wtheck another half, because at this point im annoyed that it didnt transform to wonderful hot choc the minute i put the first spoon in, taste, wtheck is wrong with this, scan the kitchen counters, oooo whats this? adding a spoon of sweet condensed milk, taste, not good enough, a pump of caramel goes in, taste buds still mad at me, another spoon of condensed milk and 2 more pumps of caramel, taste, and now my taste buds are hyper and im pretty sure im now diabetic. What is wrong with me? What sane person would allow all that sugar to enter their body even if it was only a tea spoon, let alone i drank half the cup..

And if your wondering why the font is so funky and small, its because i posted this little story on Facebook and then copy and pasted it. Because i AM that lazy. Now my font is all screwed up. great. 

Bare with me while i work through this.

Anyways, if your wondering what happened since my last post about that job interview, i didn't get it :(

Those suckers.

I really really wanted it! But they told me they ended up going with another candidate, which is off, because the position says its still open on their website, and you can still apply for it.

They better have went with someone else. That way i know it wasn't me. 

Oh gawddd, maybe i left some red lipstick on the glass of water i demanded during the interview? that'd be embarrassing. You think that was it?

Hey, maybe if i applied again and didn't wear red lipstick to the second interview they wouldn't notice they already interviewed with me? 

I'm nuts...I really am.

Not because of thinking this, but because i'm actually really considering it. 

Listen, i want that job!! Its a great starting pay, especially for that position!! Not to mention the quarterly bonuses that range between 4 and 10% of your salary! Omg!!! yes, please.

But alas, they didn't want me. Although to be honest, i think it had more to do with them then me. They were such slackers through out the whole process before and after, that i can honestly see them not hiring anyone just because they didn't feel like doing it. Which my mom reminded me that isn't someone i wanna work for, because before i know it, ill be doing their jobs for them while receiving a smaller salary. Which is pretty much the situation i'm in now.

I mean, for peets sake, i have to constantly remind my boss to get back in her office and finish this and that and so. While i'm busy helping her with her budget reports, which i technically have no business seeing...

It honestly reminds me of The office with Pam and Michael. No joke.

And i hope you ladies don't take me for some kind of lazy dead beat worker with no work ethic and prob doesn't do jack, because of the griping i do here online about my job. Because this is a place to vent for me, which doesn't mean there isn't any good at my work and business. I love my job, i really do. Sometimes you just need to let off steam. And what better place then here, correct? Much better than there :p

I am actually a hard worker. I'm one of those people who thrives off stress, responsibility, and hard work. I ENJOY it. Its therapeutic to me. And after 3 years, my job just doesn't offer me that anymore. I'm a loyal employee, when i get a job, i stick with it, i'm not a job hopper, i assure you, but i know what i'm capable of, and i believe in myself. I know i can do something that challenges me more, and actually enjoy it, and i'm ready to do that! I'm ready to spread my wittle wings and flyyy!

I have dreams to be a boss, to make decisions, to put this tough head of mine to work, and do great things with it. To really really use my brain. And all that these wonderful 23 years have acquired. Not just go through the motions, like i feel i'm doing at my current job.

So all ive been doing the past 2 months and a little more is applying to tons of jobs, daily. 

But where i live, there really isn't a grand amount of job opportunities, and all that i apply for on CareerBuilder i usually don't hear back from, and Craigslist, is usually a scam, because the next day i wake up to like 40 more messages containing "GO BIGGER" in the subject line. Ughhhh. Comeonnnn, they really aught to start filtering job posts on Craigslist, like make people provide the company name for verification, and it can be anonymous to the reader, just do it!! 

Or Craigslist, if your reading, i can do it for you, for a decent salary :p

See?  I never stop looking for a job :) haha.

So yes, ladies this is for the most part what i have been up to lately..

I'm also busy planning my sister in laws baby shower, for end of this month!

Am i going corporate?

Hi pretty girls!

I hope your having a great weekend! Mine was supposed to be productive, but is turning out not to be..

So let me jump right in to my post today!

Thsi last Monday i was contacted by a company about a resume i had submitted to them back in October when i was a mad women hunting for another job! I think i sent out my resume to about 30 companies a day! With no luck. I wanted a new job so bad i even applied to jobs i was under qualified for. Cuz you never know, and it doesnt hurt to try, right?

RIGHT!

So when i get this call from this area code i dont recognize i let it go straight to voice mail, and Google the area code. Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

I listen to the voice mail and return there call.

The HR girl says she wants to do a phone interview with me and we jump right in.

& at this point, i still dont even know what im interviewing for haha. I dont remember applying to it, the salary hours or position it was for. 

She gives me a few details and after the phone interview (which went surprisingly great!), i Google the company and look into details of the position on their website and quickly realize that this was one of those positions i was way under qualified for. So im thinking, they saw my resume, why the heck are they interested in me? I cant believe they even contacted me! BUT ILL TAKE IT! hahha no complaining hereee :D

The HR girl tells me that she will pass along our phone interview and resume to the regional hiring manager in my area and i will be hearing back from them in a week IF they are interested in me. NEXT morning i get a call from the hiring manager and they are interested in an in person interview with me, so we scheduled it for this upcoming Thursday, the 2nd.

So today was supposed to be my day to quickly teach myself how to use Outlook, PowerPoint, and brush myself up on Excel. I already use Excel at my current job but i wanted to teach myself a few more things. 

But that isnt working out too well haha.

Anyways, PLEASE SAY A PRAYER for me on Thursday so i land the job!

It will be a HUGE step up for me! Actually a few steps up for me! Its gonna take me to a whole new level!

Its a salaried job, which ive never had! Ive only had hourly jobs, which i like cuz your getting paid for what you work, but for the salary theyr offering, im willing to work hard and overtime if need be!!! Ive never came close to making that amount, and itd seriously change the way id be able to live! Im soo excited!
It will be a challenge, and take hard work, but im ready for it! and im ready to go out and work hard and move up the ladder!
This job would allow me to buy a new car, move out, shop if i want to, etc! & if you knew what kind of tight budget ive been living on the past few months trying to save for a new car, youd know how much this means to me! To be able to actually buy something i want, not need haha.
The job would also include traveling about once a month, which im actually really excited about! Im excited about having that real job, corporate job. & i know i might regret saying this after about a 2 months of  travel, but for now, im for it!
So this week im planning on working hard on teaching myself these programs, and finding a perfect interview outfit! Im thinking i will use some interview outfit staples, but keep it still youthful, maybe some black long pants with a flowy button up top belted with a blazer or something along those lines.. Im gonna leave with you a few inspirations, and please keep me in your mind on Thursday! Thanks girls :)

Im sooooooorrrrry girls!

I just get so caught up with things i need to get done and am trying to achieve, i forget to blog regularly.

I've been hunting for a NEW JOB like a mad woman the past few months with no real luck. Things pop up here and there but nothing thats worth leaving the job i have now. I get paid pretty well for what my job actually is and its a VERY stable job, so im looking for something that i know is going to be secure.

But im excited about a new website i just found that is great for random odd jobs here and there just to make some side money while i continue my job search.

Ive also been busy saving every penny i get for a new car and am in the market to purchase on THIS MONTH!!! yay!

Cross your fingers i dont blow all the money by the 31st. I seem to be very good at that...

I took him to go see Christmas lights & that earned me brownie points with him! He was just awe struck with it all!

I went to the zoo with family and friends on my birthday! Yes, it was my choice, and no i didnt turn 9, but 23! haha. I love the zoo!

I made my own coasters & they turned out amazing!! Seriously, a ridiculously cheap project!

& because ive been eating complete crap to my body but not my taste buds liek this, i am TRYING SO HARD to get back into the gym! Id like to go on a summer vacation this year and not hide behind a towel. Ive put on more weight than im even close to being ok with!! :(

 Ive been sportin' red lips weekly this past month! I think it adds such a nice pop of color during such a colorless season! Its fun & classy and works well with pale skin ;)

Anyways ladies, im not even gonna bother promising a bunch of posts coming up cuz i know your just gonna roll your eyes, go ahead, do it, i know i would! I suck. zee end.

My Christmas Wishlist

Hi ladies!

Im probably one of the last ladies doing a post on my wishlist, but better late then never, right? :) 

This year the family decided we'd try doing something different. Everyone we know seems to be doing a Secret Santa gift exchange so we thought we'd give it a go and see how we like it! & we set a limit of around $50. So far, im not liking it so much..I think not buying as many gifts, and shopping and wrapping gifts for all my family, has taken away from the whole Christmas experience..It just hasnt felt like Xmas AT ALL so far this year :/ so depressing.

Anyways! I drew my moms name out of the hat, along with her wishlist.

My mom sucks. All she had on her wishlist was "Macy's or Loft gift card". LAME!! Moooooooom.

Forget that!

I decided to do something more fun!

I scheduled my mom and i a 1 hr massage, followed by a nice long lunch at a nice restaurant called Roxy.

We neverrrr have time to have a fun girls day, so this is gonna be reallllly nice, and much needed for the both! Im excited to spend time with my momma! Deff not in the $50 range, but im not good at staying within a budget :p

I also got her a box full of makeup, from mascara to lipsticks to liners to blushes to etc! <---thats my kinda gift! I know she'll love it! We're such girls :)

I swatched this on my hand in Nordstrom's and about died! What is this miracle cream?! Its a foundation?! But i cant even see it! 

I swatched it on my hand, blended it out, and it went on so smoothly, and blended so well, you couldnt even tell i had anything on my hand! It was that smooth and amazing! BUT it had great coverage! So odd, but so lovely! I NEED IT!

Benefit Porefessional

I was in Ulta, wasting money of course, and tried some of this on my hand. It was amazing! So soft, went on like a light primer but once you blend it feels more like a sheer powder. It filled in all the tiny little wrinkles in my skin, and made it look flawless! I knew i needed this! The reviews are fantastic as well! Wear it over your makeup, under, whatever! Helps minimize pores and makes your skin look flawless!

A massage.

I have been wanting and NEEDING one for months. So i guess i took care of this myself! ha!

I also put a Sephora Giftcard on my list.

Thats about it.

The older i get, the less i want for xmas, is that weird? It will take me days to figure out what to put on the list. And thats all i was able to figure out. haha. I prefer being surprised!

But ill be happy with any one of those & im excited to see what i get!

So i was reading about Christy Brinkley's skincare line on the web and came across this picture....

Woahhh, face lift much?!

I find it a bit odd that she got a face lift before she started promoting her skincare line, one which emphasizes on aging gracefully with her super dupertastic products that act like face lifts in a bottle!

What they dont say is that you actually have to go get the face lift! :p

Which then led me to Googleing all of these!

This girl just has major issues...She looked SO MUCH BETTER before (left side.) Her boobs are like bazookas! 

Way too butch looking before..so its been for the better id say.

I think they did too much work on those wrinkles. Shes beautiful in both, but a lot more relaxed and sweet before. So im going with the Before. 

Chin implant. Good choice. It totally thinned her out and took her from adolescent teen girl to sexy vixen. I also like her with the darker hair.

Eeeeks. Boy needs to lay off the Botox and lip injections.

She should never go that thin. It looks like her own mouth is eating her.

Personally, ive never thought Kim was anything special. At all. She's kinda annoying looking to me. Shes not sexy, its always been her makeup. Her eye makeup is sexy. Her lashes are sexy. Her lipstick is sexy. Her bronzing is sexy. But never her her. I think shes overrated. And seeing this before picture i can now see she was once actually really gorgeous. Just a natural beauty. She looks more like a cat now. And i dont think its flattering. It looks like her whole face is pulling upwards. She reminds me of the next lady...

I know, not quite. But where shes going resembles this to me...

I think the nose job was a great choice for Ashley. I think it put her in a whole other league...

Its crazy how young she got work done...

I think shes over rated aswell. Bangin body, but the face doesnt scream supermodel to me at all. I have a lot of Ukranian friends that resemble her. A lot of Ukranians look like this actually. So i dont know whats so special about her...besides great legs and fabulous skin. Not sayin shes not pretty. Shes deff pretty. But the big deal?

Carrot Top goes to BFs gym. BF says hes an ahole.
