How the Glitz Stole Christmas Blogger Swap!!

Happy Monday Ladies!

I know, a happy Monday? Not possible. ha.
Hope you all had a great weekend!
I spent mine working my butt off till 5am and spending time with friends and family and this little bug!

Anyways, a few weeks ago I signed up to be apart of The Bargain Blonde's & A Momma's Desires and Pacifiers holiday blog swap How The Glitz Stole Christmas!

They partnered us up with another blogger and we were to put together a fun little swap, something along these lines:

Anything goes, but it has to be glitzy, glamourous, shiny, shimmery, sparkly, glittery...you get the idea! This swap has a $25 spending limit! Ideas include cold weather accessories, shimmery makeup, sparkly clothing/jewelry, glittery ornaments, etc. Whatever your little glitz heart desires.

A victorias Secret Lip Gloss & 2 amazing smelling hand sanitizers in Love Spell and Pure Seduction.

I gotta say, the lip gloss is the most AMAZING tasting/smelling lip gloss ive ever owned! Not even gonna lie, i put this lip gloss on like 3 times a day just so i can secretly eat it. ha! Child much?

 A softening foot lotion & hot pink nail polish! Im a pink nail polish kinda girl, so im already wearing the polish :p

& my FAVORITE  part of the swap! This suuuuuper cute leopard makeup bag!! Just look at it! Isn't it goooorgeous? :p

This & That!

1. May 3rd was my misters & I's 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Clap clap! Yay! He was such a sweet tart & surprised me with flowers at work! I say surprised because we were gonna wait till i visit to do any celebrating!

I dont know how he found the florist he uses but they never disappoint! Always the most gorgeous big luscious flowers! :) 

2. I finally bought my tickets for Vegas last week! Im so stinkin excited to be visiting my hunka dunk in 9 days!!!

3. Last Friday i got to see Meryll Haggard & Trace Adtkins live in concert w fantastic seats! Thanks to my lovely best friend, who has the best lick and wins something from the local country radio station WEEKLY! 

4. Guess who made a trip to Nordstroms for a few new pairs of jeans? <----this girl! Thank you Lordy, cuz i needed em! And to celebrate, i rewarded myself:

5. Throwing my sister a surprise birthday party this Saturday! Im sooo behind! BUT i have made my first purchase towards the party, MASON JARS! For this :

 I will be replicating these :)

Yes, i am alive.

Barely tho.

I got sick Saturday night, cuz the cold wind here has been a brat! 

So ive been in bed since Sunday morning, am still in bed, and plan on staying here all day, since i called off of work. Wtvr, i hear we have some kind of intestinal flu going around over there, and i want no part of that!

Now, i know my blogging has been getting horrible. It actually just plain stinks. Im not consistent. 

Consistent, whats that? :p

Im trying to recall what i did the past 2 weeks, but my memory sucks.

Ill give you the bits and pieces. 

Last Friday i went out with my friends Kaitlin & Tanya to a "hip" new pizza place downtown, paid astronomical prices for mediocre pizza & funky drinks. After the little buzz we got there, we took off to meet Kaitlins man friends at some seedy bar in the ghetto, without getting caught in crossfire or a drive by hooray! Where we ended up spending the rest of our night being repulsed and slightly amused at the trashy exhibit of "love". HA! Must you fondle your girl on a barstool in front of a whole bar full of people? And darling, didnt your mama teach you that wearing a shirt for a dress, and letting a man stick his fingers under your panties in public is just not classy? And you scoff at people staring at you...ha! Yes, we will stare at you, and your lucky i didnt let Tanya give you a few words, cuz she is one of those drunks. Give her drinks and she becomes a b****. You wanna be her friend at the bar. lol.
 Anyways, after free drinks from several lads, we decided to take it outside. Particularly after the last lad, who screamed creeper with his beady eyes, scruffy face hair, and bad BO. After about a half hour of random ramblings conversation outside, we set off back to where we left our cars, at my work. At some point in the night, we decided we were going to play a joke on my coworker Steven. Cuz Steven works the night shift as security. And you see, Steven has a crush on me.
So every time i see him, he jokes that after i leave work, i should come back later in the night, and meet him on the third floor, where there is a vacant apt. I dont need to tell you his intentions...So what i wanted to do, is go get a life size bimbo blow up doll, put a blond wig on her, and leave her on the third floor, to find when hes doing his rounds. hahahhahahahahahhahahahahahha. But we got there too late, and it was the end of his shift, i knew we wouldnt have enough time. So thats a prank for another night :D

But these cupcake surprises at work made my day! Awwww :)

This wknd was my friends birthday so she had a bbq at the park. We spent the whole day there, eating, the boys playing sports, the girls gossiping, and thats where i got sick :/
After the park i went to Carmelitas Mexican, my favvvv, for some shrimp fajitas that are to DIE for, and then went over to a friends to watch some sad movie with Colin Farell about escaping the goo-lag during the Soviet Union. Not usually my type of movie but we all ended up loving it!

I got home around 3, and by then i knew i was coming down with something :/ ive been in bed since :(

Seinfeld is the greatest show ever made fyi :)

Just cuz i dont rmbr what ive been doing doesnt mean i havent been busy. The past 2 weeks have actually be quite busy! I think i only had a few evenings where i was free!
Im glad to be getting my rest tho :)

the worst blogger ever. Im so inconsistent! 

Its cuz i get so busy commenting on your blogs, by the time im done going through my feed and doing so, im too tired to post my own! haha!

Friday i spent with my best friend Kaitlin and our friend Jeremy! He took us out to BJs Restaurant & Brewery where we ate some yummy food and drank some mediocre drinks. Im usually a lightweight, so get like 1 drink in me and im having a ball! I had 2 drinks that did zip for me, and tasted mehh. Dont you hate that? Its like wtf? Your charging me bank for this one drink, and its got zero alcohol in it and tastes like butt! Anyways, we ended up missing our movie so opted for more drinks at Kaitlins apt! She had some more guys come over and we all just hung out! We're both in relationships btw, lol, but seem to get along better with boys! Theyr more laid back!   It was over all a pretty good night considering Kaitlin & I hung out the night before till the WEEEEE hours haha making dinner and trying out some Skinny Girl Margarita! Which sucks btw. <---Personal opinion. A few hard ciders after that and we were on our way to trouble & other shinanigans! haha!

Saturday i slept till like 3, no joke, and then went to this pretty girls bridal shower!
Courtney is honestly one of the most gorgeous people i have ever met! Like Shes talking to you and your just thinkin to yourself, dude, shes sooooo pretty! If thats not creepy of me...lol. Plus, she has an adorable lil daughter Isabell!

Sunday i went to church, cam eback, napped, and we had some friends over, which ended up being more people than we had expected!

I dont wanna go to work. Not that my weekend was anything extraordinary. It was quite quiet actually!

Saturday i slept in. Went shopping for a few random things to tide me over until my next shopping trip for summer clothes in 2 months or so. Then i decided to take advantage of the FABULOUS 70 degree weather and went to the river/park with some family & friends, AND my loverbug!

Honestly, i live for this sweet boys kisses! THEY. JUST. KILL. ME! So stinkin sweet! Especially the ones he gives you himself! <3

His lil teeth are growing in! How adoooorable are they? is he?!

He is suchhhhhhh a loved little boy!

He is becoming such a big boy! Its crazy how fast hes growing! It makes me sad.. :/

We took a beautiful path to the park! Such an amazing walk! You could here the birds chirping, sooo very many butterflies, and it smelt divine! It makes you forget you live in suburbia!

This is someones actual backyard! Id die for a backyard like that! Can you imagine all the fun bbq's, picnics, the boys catch games, summer parties! This picture doesnt even do it justice, it was HUGE!

Ya...Im so ready for summer!

Saturday night we had friends come over for mexican, movies, and just hanging out.

Sunday consisted of church & lunch with a friend at Dos Coyotes, where i had a Salmon Burrito that im never gonna get again...She raved about it, so i gave it a shot..I will give them this tho, their burritos are HUGE! And the tortillas are soft! But the weird white sauce they mixed it with had me wondering with every single chew, what kind of ingredients it took to make such a funky sauce...Bad funky sauce.

And seeing lil man for a bit again. Seriously, i cant get enough of him! I could spend all my weekends with him, and id be a happy girl!

Happy Monday ladies!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Mine consisted of baby showers, birthday parties, church, & friends!

Saturday was Megan's baby shower! It was sooo nice to see her! I missed her tons! She lives in Southern California with her husband who is in the Navy, so i dont get to see her much anymore :( boo hooo :'( But anyways, the baby shower was great! They had yummy drinks, and tasty finger foods like jalapeño poppers, stuffed mushrooms, cheesy bread, chips and dip, wraps, and etc..and she got tonnnnns of gifts! Im happy for her! I know having a baby is EXPENSIVE! My coworker, our mutual friend (Megan used to work with us) and I split a gift, which included tons of random stuff from her Target registry.

We ate, talked, played games (dont play the candy bar in the diaper game with deodorized diapers, it makes the sniffing tricky hahaha!) and opened gifts!

You guys, seriously, this girl is friggin lucky! She doesnt look like she gained any weight! shes 7 months pregnant and still as thin as she was before, except the obvious belly, and that is even small! She says she gained 20 lbs, so the baby must be coming out gigantic, cuz there is no way those lbs went any where other than her baby belly. Jealousssss! How can she be skinnier than i and shes pregnant! wtf? haha.

We are all coworkers, or at least used to be when Megan still lived here. Tere is a hoot! She is the sassiest 65 year old ive ever met. Shes got more attitude than your average 15 year old teeny bopper haha!

After the baby shower i went straight to my extremely adorable nephews 1st birthday! 

How freakin ADORABLE is he with his cute little Curious George party hat?! gushhhhhhhh!

I knew he was getting to the age where he actually enjoys toys now, so i knew everyone would be buying him  tons! So i got him 2 cute spring/summer outfits that his momma would enjoy more than he, but hey, she deserves something too for creating that precious boy!

I was sooooo right! After opening all his presents, he practically had a Toys R Us in there!

His party theme was Curious George! His momma made this cake herself, how amazing is it?

Which he ended up enjoying a lot! haha!

Sunday i was POOPED! From the baby shower, straight to the birthday party, with all those kids, all that noise, i was exhausted! I went to church, came home to lunch with the fam, - daddy + sisters BF, and stayed in for the rest of the evening which was spent mostly swaddled in a blanket napping.
